St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP)
"The SVP is a Christian organisation dedicated to helping, visiting and befriending people of any background or faith, offering practical help where needed. Typical work of the SVP in Whitstable includes visiting the sick and housebound, and advising and assisting with financial issues, e.g. debt, budgeting difficulties and offering support in dealing with various other agencies. We also supply food through our emergency food bank, hampers at Christmas time and also provide help with basic needs, such as household items and school uniforms.”
